Sustainability Statement of Intent 

The PFMAC recognises its responsibility to protect the environment for current and future generations.  Our Schools are committed to being good stewards of God’s creation and answer the call from Pope Francis to Care for Our Common Home.  

Through support team and school initiatives, our PFMAC family of schools are committed to work towards the UK Government’s target of net zero by 2030 by reducing carbon emissions and introducing positive actions for the natural environment across all premises.

  • Curriculum 
  • Training & Development 
Working together 

Working together in unity, along with the Diocese of Birmingham, we will encourage creative, focused and forward-thinking when it comes to climate and nature. We will share project ideas and knowledge across our family of schools to achieve a high level of sustainability across our schools and estate. 

Reporting 

We will report annually on the progress of our Sustainability Strategy.
